The project “Agenda Greenauto – Green Innovation for the Automotive Industry” is a measure of the Green Agendas for Business Innovation and has an investment by Simoldes Plásticos, S.A. of 4,523,856.40 euros.

The Greenauto Agenda is structured in 11 work packages (WPs):

  • WP1 focused on the factory setup for the BE-LCV production;
  • WPs 2 to 7 focused on the development of innovative components and systems for electric vehicles (e.g. energy efficient systems, lighter components);
  • WP 8 to 10 focused on the development of productive technology (e.g. collaborative robotics, inspection systems), which are more efficient and allow for an increase in performance and quality in the production process;
  • WP11 focused on the management, coordination and promotion of the Agenda and the dissemination of the results achieved.

The participation of Simoldes Plásticos aims at the development of intelligent, functionalized and digital modules for the automotive interior (PPS2).

Simoldes Plásticos, S.A. was present at the Agenda GreenAuto TECHDAY event, held on 14 November. This event, led by Stellantis Mangualde, aimed to present advances in the Mobilising Agenda for Business Innovation. With the participation of 36 organisations from the consortium, as well as members of IAPMEI and the Comissão Nacional de Acompanhamento do Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência CNA | PRR, the event highlighted the main results of the different PPSs. Simoldes Plásticos, leader of PPS2, highlighted innovations such as intelligent, functional and digital modules for the interior of electric vehicles.
