The NaBat – Sodium Cells for Batteries (PP111), integrated into the Future: Fast Forward (F3) initiative, aims to design and develop high-performance sodium-ion cells. These cells are characterized by their sustainability, durability, low cost, and ability to operate over a wide temperature range. They are positioned as a complementary technology to lithium-ion cells and directed to the mobility and stationary sectors.
With a total investment of €7,477,331, the NaBat project is co-financed under the “Proyectos Estratégicos para la Recuperación y Transformación Económica” program with €1,189,263 from the NextGenerationEU European Fund.
The project will run for one year and six months, from January 2024 to June 2025, with Simoldes Plásticos España as the promoter.
